Dan Scavone, former Director of the Princeton NJ corporate campus office of Merrill Lynch, is now Regional Managing Director of BNY Mellon Wealth Management. He is tasked to run BNY Mellon’s regional wealth management business office in New Jersey. Dan has had extensive Mid-Atlantic market experience, an element he put to good use as the Market Manager/Managing Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region and the New York Metro Market at JP Morgan for 7 years.

BNY Mellon is the global leader in investment services and investment management. Dan Scavone feels he can contribute much to the company’s continued growth and leadership in the industry. “I aim to oversee the strategic expansion of BNY Mellon throughout the state,” Scavone said Tuesday. “One of my top priorities will be adding staff through the company’s openings for a number of portfolio managers and development professionals in New Jersey.”

Scavone will be reporting directly to Doris Meister, President for US markets in New York Tri-State. “I am determined to lead the expansion of BNY Mellon Wealth Management in New Jersey, which represents a major portion of the greater New York wealth market. BNY Mellon has a very skilled and talented workforce. As the Regional Managing Director, I hope to be able to use people’s development skills to make the company’s presence much stronger in my assigned region.” Scavone says he has training programs ready to be put in place immediately to develop highly-skilled wealth management professionals, who like him, will work for the continued success of the company in the industry.
